Are you tired of having checks ride around in your child's backpack for weeks?  Here's an easy and (usually) free way to avoid that:

If you have BillPay or a similar bill-paying option with your bank, set up Taylor Band as a payee and your bank will mail your checks for you!  Here's what to do:
Set up the Payee Name as Taylor Band
Set up the Payee Address as P.O. Box 478, Barker, TX 77413
If it asks for your account number, use your CHILD'S first and last name

Then, when you want to send a payment of any kind, enter the amount, what the payment is for in the MEMO section (example, Sugar Bowl trip payment, Color Guard Dues, Program Ads, etc.), and send it on its way.  It takes about 4 business days to get to the JET Band Boosters P.O. box, so be sure and allow plenty of time if there's a payment deadline to meet.

Some banks allow you to set up a "Recurring Payment" which would be convenient to use for the big trip payments that are due each month from through December 2010.

Bank of America doesn't charge anything to use their BillPay service and other banks should be free or very inexpensive.  Questions?  E-mail treasurer@jetband.org for help.
