Marching Band

The Marching Band performs at all home and away varsity football games during the fall semester.  In addition to providing entertainment at football games and pep rallies, the Marching Band also competes in four to five contests throughout October and early November. The extensive planning, preparation and practice required for these contests begins up to a year in advance. The Marching Band at Taylor High School has earned many 1st division ratings at UIL, performed in the Texas State Marching Contest and Bands of America marching competitions, and participated in the 2011 Sugar Bowl Pregame and Halftime Shows.
