CONCERT PROGRAM ADS & SUSTAINING MEMBERSHIPS

UPDATE -- Sept. 30, 2008, is the last day for funds earned from Concert Program Ads and Sustaining Memberships to be credited to the San Diego Trip account.  For Ads and Memberships submitted after Sept. 30, the earnings will go into the trip account for the next school year (2009-2010). 

Our Concert Program Ads campaign has been both successful and popular, so we will continue with it again this year. The letter and form with more details is available below.  NOW is the time to get started recruiting advertisers!  As an incentive, 5% of any ad sales you make will go into your child's 2008 San Diego Trip account.          

Another important fundraising effort is bringing in Sustaining Members to Band Boosters.  We want to make a big effort this year to increase our number of Sustaining Memberships, particularly among Katy-area merchants and the business community.

Please review the Sustaining Memberships program letter, available below, and then consider approaching your business contacts, local merchants, or your employer as potential supporters of JET Band.  The publicity for our top business Sustaining Members has been enhanced to include complimentary Concert Program ads for the top categories.  And remember, 10% of the membership donations you bring in will go into your child's 2008 San Diego Trip Account, so it's a real win-win situation!
 
You might want to bring one of last year's concert playbill programs with you when approaching prospective ad purchasers and/or Sustaining Members in the business community to give them an idea of the type of advertising publicity they will receive.  If you need a sample program for these purposes, e-mail jetbandboosters
