The Taylor High School Color Guard is under the supervision and management of Christopher Bailey, Director of Bands. The Color Guard Director is Brandi Ball. The Color Guard performs as part of the marching band in the fall. At the conclusion of football season, the Color Guard moves indoors and performs as the Taylor High School Winter Guard. The Guard is recognized as one of the finest of its kind anywhere at all levels of competition. The Winter Guard is a three time state champion in its circuit, and most recently won the Silver Medal for second place at the 2009 State Championship. The Winter Guard finished tenth in 1995, third in 2003, and eleventh in 2007 at the WGI World Championships in Dayton, Ohio.
