Garage Sale ________________________________________________________________________
The Band Booster Fall Garage Sale
is set for Saturday, Sept. 20,
2008, in the Taylor PAC parking lot from 8 AM to 1 PM. Now's
the time to start cleaning out those closets and getting your stuff
ready... Remember: one man's junk is another
man's treasure! Donations of items as well as volunteers to
work the garage sale are needed.
We prefer that donations be brought to
the parking lot Saturday morning between 6:00 to 7:00 AM to allow time
for sorting and organizing. If need be, you can also bring your
donations to the school on Friday up until 6:30 PM (we are working on a
secure storage location -- check back here for updates!).
Several volunteers who can do "heavy lifting" and have trucks or SUVs
are needed for the Friday afternoon/evening before the garage sale
to help with picking up large donated items. If you have very
heavy or large items that you are unable to transport to the school
yourself, we will arrange to pick them up on Friday evening. Please
only request “Heavy Pick-up” if you have a heavy/large item that you
cannot transfer yourself. If you just have a lot of stuff, bags, or
small furniture, we would greatly appreciate your bringing that yourself
to the school on Friday afternoon/evening (until 6:30 PM) or early
Saturday morning.
In addition to garage sale items, please start saving
your
brown paper bags,
plastic grocery sacks, or any other shopping bags, and bring them to the
garage sale so we can use them for people to take their purchases
home.
This event can't happen
without many helpers and trucks. Please help out!
Volunteer points are awarded for both hours worked and
donations. Click

and receipts will be available. It would be most helpful if all
items except clothing were pre-priced and marked prior to
donation.
