Percussion _______________________________________________________________________

The Taylor High School percussion section is a comprehensive program built to enrich percussion performance opportunities for students at Taylor High School. The students participate in all aspects of the Taylor Band program. Members of the percussion section are also active in chamber ensembles that meet in extra rehearsals throughout the spring semester and compete at competitions.

The Taylor Drum Line is a unit of the JET Marching Band. The TDL has a long history of exemplary performance, successfully participating in numerous marching band and drum line competitions. The TDL also acts as an ambassador for Taylor High School and Katy ISD performing for various school district and community events throughout the fall semester. The TDL prides itself on having fun while challenging each member to become a better percussionist individually and collectively.
